Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to make a reservation?

  • Yes reservations are required for spa entry and services.
  • A reservation for spa entry is for 2 hours of spa use.
  • Click here to book: Spa Entry

How do I reserve for more than one person?

  • Our current online system is only capable of booking one person at a time. If you would like to reserve for someone else you can have them create their own account and sign up, or you can text/call us. We will need each person's full name, phone number and email address for all bookings.
  • Text: 206-222-0549
  • Call: 206-262-1234

Can I book a surprise appointment for someone?

  • We do not allow surprise appointments for spa entry or services. This is to ensure that all guests understand what they are signed up for and can choose to opt out in a timely manner. We also require all guests to create an account and sign our Spa Waiver.

Why do I have to create an account to sign the waiver?

  • An account is needed for each guest so that waivers can be stored in their profile in order for us to know that it has already been read and signed.

What is the cancellation policy?

  • You can cancel or reschedule at any time up to 24hrs before your appointment • A $30 spa entry and/or 100 % service cancellation fee applies to missed appointments or late cancellations. • We take your credit card details to secure your appointment (one time only) • We will store your details securely and in accordance with PCI compliance • No money will be taken unless the 24hr policy is not adhered to, your payments will be taken as normal during your visit

Do you have group rates?

  • No. However, we do have a Value Pass which consists of 5 entries for the price of 4. This can be applied to 5 separate people.

How does the waitlist work?

  • You can add yourself to the waitlist for spa entry appointments when booking online. If someone in that time slot cancels you will be moved from the waitlist to the appointed time and get a text notification.
  • If you do not get a notification then you do not have an apointment. Do not come in unless you receive a text telling you to do so.
  • Because we have a 24hr cancellation policy it is very unlikely that same day waitlist entries will get an appointment. The waitlist is used best days in advance in case there are cancellations.

Are children allowed?

  • No, all spa guests must be 18 years of age or older.

What are the benefits of using the facility before receiving services?

  • Using the saunas and pools before your salt scrub or mud wrap will moisten and soften the skin which will promote the exfoliation process.
  • Heating your muscles and/or doing the hot and cold cycles will ease your body into a preliminary relaxed state before starting your massage. This will allow your body to fully relax during the massage and can help your therapist reach treatment goals.

Can I come in for a service only or do I have to use the Banya?

  • Yes, you may come in for services only. Please include this information at the time of booking. However, please be aware that there are certain benefits which may be lost when the facility is not used before your treatment, especially with scrubs and wrap.

Is there anything I should do to prepare for certain treatments?

Massage:

  • If you have a medical condition or are under a doctor’s supervision, please obtain permission from your doctor to receive massage (and/or other services).
  • If you are booking for ‘Massage only’, please be sure to take a cleansing shower before your treatment begins.

Salt Scrubs:

  • Please do not shave or wax your legs 24 hours before your scheduled treatment time. Shaving or waxing may cause skin to be extra sensitive.
  • Make sure to sit in our steam room or use the pools before your treatment to soften the skin for exfoliation.

What is the purpose of wearing the hats in the parilka (dry sauna)?

  • Many people wear hats in the sauna to protect their head from the direct heat. In doing so, they are also helping their body acclimate to the temperature at steady rate and in turn being able to stay in the sauna longer.
