Does a slouched posture leave you feeling off in your upper back or shoulders, tense in your neck and/or closed off to the world?
Modern life often draws us forward, creating postural imbalances that affect how we breathe, move, and feel. The alignment of your shoulders, rib cage, and head plays a key role in supporting your nervous system and overall wellness. Your back body—especially the mid-back and neck muscles—is built to stabilize and lift you, yet these areas are often under-activated. This workshop helps you reconnect to those essential muscles and restore natural balance.
You’ll gain:
**Insight into how the mid-back (thoracic spine) supports breathing, vitality, and well-being
**Awareness of how head position and gravity influence your neck and posture
**Strengthening of mid-back muscles for improved postural support
**Reconditioning of neck and upper spine alignment to reduce tension and promote ease
Through guided movement and mindful practice, you’ll leave feeling taller, lighter, and more at ease.
Hatha Yoga - Tuesdays 6pm
Liz Spiers
$25 - 60 mins.
Join Elizabeth Spiers for 60 minutes with optional 2-hrs of discounted spa time. Connect, reflect and ground with this time-honored practice. In this class you will be guided through a gentle warm up, followed by sun salutations, and lead into held poses. This class is open to all, regardless of experience, and has a maximum capacity of 6 students. With this small class size, you will receive direct teacher feedback and personal instruction.
Please wear comfortable stretchy clothes and a water bottle is helpful. Yoga mats, straps and blocks are provided for class.
Spa entry is discounted to $53+tax and booked separately, please book spa entry before class (at 3:45pm or 4pm), or after class (at 7pm). Lockers, sandals, and towels are provided with spa entry.
Yin with Healing Touch – Thursdays 6pm
Heather Hested
$30 - 75 mins.
Join Heather Hested for 75 minutes with optional 2-hrs of discounted spa time. Yin provides a balance to active (yang) yoga practices and busy life. Through long-held floor poses combined with breath work and meditation, you'll target the dense connective tissues of the body to increase flexibility and move stagnant energy. This deep practice is gentle, yet intense, helping students not only to open the body, but also to cultivate the ability to observe and stay with sensation. Students can also opt-in to assisted stretching as they release into yin poses. Suitable for all levels, maximum capacity of 6 students.
