Jonie is a licensed aesthetician and massage practitioner who brings over 10 years of experience to every session she provides. She graduated from Miss Marty's Beauty Academy in 1999, the Acupressure Institute in 2002, and the Brian Utting School of Massage in 2008. Jonie is trained in many modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuro-muscular technique, Acupressure, Shiatsu, Chinese diagnosis of the face and many advanced skin care treatments.
Working with the philosophy that our internal health is reflected in the physical body, Jonie approaches each client with a holistic mindset. Your total well-being is her number one priority. She has seen first-hand that health can be a bridge to one's beauty, and beauty to one’s health.

Jeff D'Ambrosio, LMP
Jeff graduated from the Brenneke School of Massage in 2005. He joined the Banya 5 team in 2006 after he personally experienced the benefits of combining massage with bathing and hydrotherapy. His experience practicing in physical therapy settings has influenced his unique approach to bodywork, which encompasses both structural and functional aspects. Jeff's work is a stimulating blend of numerous massage techniques, including Myofascial and Trigger Point work, Deep Swedish Massage and Acupressure. His work enhances body flexibility and restores fluidity to the connective tissues, helping in the prevention of injuries and illness and enhancing overall body performance. Jeff is dedicated to helping people empower themselves to improve their health and well being through bodywork.

Rio Foster, LMP
Rio received his training from the Brian Utting School of Massage in 2006 and has since worked in several Seattle-area clinics. Always physically active, Rio's appreciation for massage comes from his personal experience recovering from multiple injuries through bodywork, where he discovered not only relief from pain and improved performance, but also the profound physical/emotional effects of massage.
Rio believes that how you physically move through the world represents your attitude towards it, and his work is dedicated to increasing balance, ease of movement, and mind/body wellness. He practices an engaging and precise style of Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and Neuromuscular Technique, which aims to calm excited or irritated neuromuscular pathways, free up restricted muscles and fascia, and generate a deeper sense of the body's movement through space.

Tiffany graduated from the Brian Utting School of Massage in 2002 after receiving a degree in Exercise Science from Miami University. She has been combining her love of kinesiology, massage, and holistic healing for the past nine years to create a uniquely focused and grounded massage.
Tiffany's passion is finding holding patterns and working with clients to understand the physical and emotional links that can help unwind them. Kreshenda Keith, LMP / Aesthetician
Kreshenda received her training in bodywork at the Brian Utting School of Massage in 2002 and her aesthetician's license from the Euro Institute of Skin Care in 2010. She has always been fascinated by the way things work—growing up she worked on cars with her father, and she often visualizes the musculature of the body like an engine schematic.
Kreshenda has worked in chiropractic and spa settings for several years and is adept at applying and blending the modalities of Deep Tissue, Treatment Massage for injuries, and neuromuscular technique.
At Banya 5 Kreshenda brings an analytical and treatment-based focus to her massage balancing her sessions with soothing Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage, and a fluid, confident touch. Deziree Lindsey, LMP
Deziree moved to Washington State in 2004 to pursue her life-long ambition of healing and educating. She graduated from the Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle in 2005.
Deziree speaks fluent Spanish and loves working with diverse populations. Her commitment to educating under-served communities about the benefits of massage has led her to work in variety of different treatment settings.
In a session with Deziree, you can expect to receive intuitive, contactful, focused work, inspired by traditional Deep Tissue massage and Myofascial Release, and coupled with deep, elongating stretches to ensure you walk away feeling more relaxed and comfortable in your own body.

Jacquie dreamed of becoming a massage practitioner for over a decade, after doing an independent study on alternative medicine. After moving to Seattle in 2009, she began her training at Cortiva Institute, graduating in 2010.
Jacquie's training in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and Nueromuscular techniques provides a foundation for a style strongly influenced by structural bodywork techniques such as Rolfing. A lifelong affair with dancing and a Pilates certification led Summer to pursue bodywork in depth. She graduated in 2007 from the Brian Utting School of Massage, and was certified in Craniosacral therapy in 2010. Summer maintains a private practice on Beacon Hill and provides massage to the Pacific Northwest Ballet Company during performances. She's thrilled to join the staff at Banya and get her feet wet in the spa world.
With a nurturing touch and a sincere belief in the healing power of breath and movement, Summer creates a unique and personalized session for each client. Her modalities include Sports Massage, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Craniosacral Therapy and Pregnancy Massage.

Dillon brings a deep understanding of the mind-body connection to his work, and is adept at releasing chronic holding patterns. He encourages his clients to actively participate in their bodywork sessions, and is skilled in assisting each individual toward achieving their personal health goals.

Mitchell Ryan LMP
Mitchell graduated in April 2009 from Cortiva Institute in Seattle. He currently has a private practice located on North Beacon Hill, as well as providing massage and bodywork services for Banya 5.
Mitchell's approach to massage is client-centered. He listens carefully to his clients’ needs and focuses on their problem areas. He encourages self-care through education and body awareness.
Mitchell is grounded, present and intuitive during his sessions. He has a deep, calm, reassuring touch, and he uses a wide variety of techniques to navigate through the tissue, including Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular work, Myofascial Release, Lomi Lomi, Sports Massage and Deep Tissue Massage.
Mitchell's favorite areas of the body to work on are the weight-bearing muscles of the back and lower body, especially the hips and the back of the leg.

Michele Salas McFarland, LMP
Michele is a 2003 graduate of Ashmead College in Seattle and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Psychology from Bastyr University in June of 2009. She has been with Banya5 since 2005 and believes in our mission of enhancing and maintaining wellness and vitality. She is guided towards an increasingly mindful massage practice by five years of experience with massage and her continuing education in the relationship of mind-body connection to health and vitality.
Sessions with Michele focus on bringing the body back into natural physical and energetic balance by combining Swedish, Myofascial and static pressure techniques. She creates a relaxing yet deep massage experience thoughtfully tailored to the needs of each client. She thoroughly enjoys detailed work on the upper back and shoulders and loves to create the ultimate rejuvenation with Banya 5's Signature Salt Scrub. She seamlessly weaves Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Circulatory Massage, Breathwork, Visceral Massage, Energetic Balancing, and Craniosacral Therapy into her sessions to create an experience that is deeply relaxing, nurturing, and structurally focused.
Christina understands that we have different needs on different days and customizes her treatments accordingly. Her goals as a practitioner are to improve function, decrease pain, and improve overall wellness and quality of life. She also skillfully balances the physical body and the energetic body, which brings longer-lasting results.
