Banya 5 is an urban spa and health facility offering a unique blend of old world wellness rituals in a friendly, contemporary environment. A series of relaxing dry and wet heat experiences coupled with exhilarating pool plunges produce a vivid circulatory experience with numerous mental and physical benefits. The experience is both personal and communal. It can be serene and detoxifying or invigorating, intense and rejuvenating. As a modern interpretation of old ideas, we are re-defining public bathing.
PARILKA
At the core of the facility is the authentic Russian sauna oven generating 200+ degrees of penetrating radiant heat. As you relax in this intense environment, your body will begin to experience many of the health benefits associated with this timeless ritual.
TURKISH STEAM ROOM
Designed for comfort and relaxation, enjoy the benefits of the fresh eucalyptus scented 113 degree steam; a contemporary version of this ancient therapy.
COLD PLUNGE POOL
After a session in the Parilka or the Turkish Steam Room, plunge your body in an icy cold bath; both refreshing and invigorating, this is a Banya 5 must.
SALT WATER TEPID POOL
Float in a pool infused with 150 lbs of salt creating salinity similar to Puget Sound, this 85 degree tepid pool is an ideal break between hot and cold therapies.
HOT WATER WHIRLPOOL
Strong jets and ultra-violet sanitation highlight this soothing 102 degree pool.
TEA LOUNGE & NAP ROOM
Complimentary custom blended herbal teas and lemon water highlight this relaxing escape from the heat, steam and cold therapies; read, play board games or just relax before resuming your "shvitz."
VENIK LOUNGE
Conveniently located two doors down from Banya 5, the Venik Lounge serves cocktails featuring organic, house-infused vodkas, a variety of appetizers and featured dinner specials.

Weekday evenings tend to be less busy and provide a more tranquil ambiance. Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday are our busiest days so you can expect a sociable atmosphere. Banya 5's bather capacity is 40 people. To avoid waiting in line, call ahead to check the Bather Count. Clients with services will get in regardless of the Bather Count. |

Banya 5 is a co-ed facility; bathing suits and foot wear are required; we offer sanitized loaner suits and complimentary flip-flops for your convenience.
Health Concerns:
Banya 5 is an extreme environment. If you are pregnant, have diabetes, heart conditions, pace makers, anemia, high or low blood pressure, epilepsy or other health conditions, please consult your physician prior to using the Banya or receiving services. This is for your safety.

The Parilka is extremely hot; avoid touching the brick, stone, metal work or the walls. Foot wear is required in the Parilka and a towel to sit on is advised. Guests are not permitted to bring food, drink or alcohol into the facility. Anyone entering the facility who appears to be visibly intoxicated will be denied admittance. Children ages 6-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian per Health Department rules. Showering prior to using the facility and or receiving body treatments is required. All common areas except the Change Rooms close 15 minutes prior to the posted closing time. The Banya 5 mantra is "Clean, Safe and Friendly;" please refrain from public displays of affection or horseplay.
